Though Aven is a unique name, there has been at least one famous Aven in history:
Dr. Aven Nelson: Famous Botany professor and eventually president of Wyoming University. Dr. Aven Nelson published over 115 scientific journals and two books.
Pyotr Aven is a billionaire out of Russia. He made his money in the oil business and serves as the president of AlphaBank in Russia.

My father"s name was James Monroe Aven from the Grenada , Miss. area .hE LEFT HOME AS A YOUNG MAN TO JOIN THE NAVY FROM WHICH HE RETIRED .as a son of James ,growing up I was not in contact with his family . I am curious as to whether or not any of his clan have knowledge of his youth .
