I never heard the name before and am suprized to hear there are others out there. I would be interested to fine out if any of them have any of the same charactistics like I have heard about other names.

My name is Aven. I was born and raised in Kingston, jamaica, I think there are at least 2 other Aven's in Jamaica whose parents knew my Mom. I would love to and hear about all the Aven's out there. i do not think there are that many of us in the world.

My father"s name was James Monroe Aven from the Grenada , Miss. area .hE LEFT HOME AS A YOUNG MAN TO JOIN THE NAVY FROM WHICH HE RETIRED .as a son of James ,growing up I was not in contact with his family . I am curious as to whether or not any of his clan have knowledge of his youth .

I named my son Aven. I love the name. My grandmothers name is Neva and she was having a lot of health problems and in the hospital. We didnt know if she was going to make it so I flipped her name around and got Aven. I love it.

I really like Aven as a boy name. Very unique and easy to say (thanks to words like Avenue and Raven). Might be confused with Aiden from time to time, but is certainly a nice departure from it.
